ADHD Foundation
Location: Liverpool
Project/s: Logo Design, Folder and Inserts Design & Artwork
Background
The ADHD Foundation works with individuals, families, doctors, teachers and other organisations to improve understanding of ADHD and support emotional wellbeing, education, behaviour and life opportunities.
The Challenge
The ADHD Foundation needed a new visual identity together with a folder and a series of A4 information leaflets. With a limited budget, the materials needed to be economical to produce while providing clear and accessible information for a wide audience, including individuals with ADHD, families, professionals, schools and potential donors.
Accessibility was an important consideration, particularly ensuring that the information remained clear and readable for people with differing visual needs.
My Role
I created the identity and developed a simple visual system that could be applied consistently across the folder and individual information leaflets.
The leaflets were designed around specific accessibility requirements, using larger typography, strong contrast and clear layouts, with text kept separate from imagery and graphic elements to maintain readability. High-contrast colours were also incorporated into the identity and supporting graphics.
By establishing a straightforward design system, the Foundation could communicate consistently across the different materials while keeping production practical and costs under control.
The Result
The completed identity, folder and leaflet system gave the ADHD Foundation a consistent and recognisable set of communications that could accommodate a wide range of information and audiences while placing clarity and accessibility at the centre of the design.
