The Challenge
Wirehouse Employer Services was a newly established consultancy specialising in Employment Law, Human Resources, Payroll and Health & Safety support for businesses. Following an enquiry through my website, I was invited to pitch against several other design agencies to develop the company's brand identity and launch materials.
The business needed a professional brand that would position it alongside much larger competitors while communicating expertise, trust and reliability from day one. Working within a limited budget also required a creative approach to the photography used throughout the marketing materials.
My Role
After successfully winning the pitch, I developed the complete brand identity, including the logo, stationery and a 20-page corporate brochure. I presented a range of creative concepts to the Managing Director before refining the chosen direction into a cohesive visual identity that reflected the company's professional services.
To maximise the available budget, I creatively retouched stock photography to create the appearance of a bespoke image library, achieving a polished and consistent look without the cost of a commissioned photoshoot. I also supervised a work experience student during the project and managed the artwork through to print production, working closely with my print suppliers to ensure a high-quality finish.
The Result
The new identity gave Wirehouse Employer Services a confident and professional image that helped the business launch successfully and compete with more established organisations in the sector. The client was delighted with the finished work, and the new marketing materials supported the company in generating early enquiries as it established its presence in the market.
The project reinforced my ability to develop brands from concept through to production, balancing creativity, commercial objectives and budget constraints while creating a consistent brand experience across every customer touchpoint.
