Artisan Media »
The Challenge
Artisan Media was a newly launched business producing woodworking courses and educational content. Following a networking introduction, the client approached me after seeing my branding work and wanted to create a professional identity that would establish the business from the outset.
The new brand needed to work consistently across a wide range of educational products, including books, DVDs and online marketing, while appealing to both woodworking enthusiasts and those looking to develop new skills.
My Role
I developed the brand identity and applied it across the company's educational publications and marketing materials. Working closely with the client and a woodworking expert who created the course content, I designed the publications and produced comprehensive brand guidelines to help the in-house artworker apply the identity consistently across future materials.
The flagship publication was a comprehensive 400-page woodworking guide, supported by professionally produced training videos. Throughout the project, I collaborated with multiple stakeholders to ensure the brand and publications reflected the quality of the training while creating a professional and consistent customer experience.
The Result
The business launched successfully with a strong and consistent brand identity across its educational products and marketing communications. The client was delighted with the finished work, which helped establish Artisan Media as a professional new business and supported the successful commercial launch of its woodworking courses.
The project reinforced my ability to develop brands from concept through to implementation, creating a flexible identity system that could be applied consistently across multiple media while supporting the client's long-term growth.
