Light Up A Life – 25th Anniversary Campaign
The Challenge
Following a networking introduction, I was invited to work with the Hospice of the Good Shepherd on its 25th Anniversary Light Up A Life campaign. The Hospice wanted to create a cohesive fundraising campaign that balanced fundraising with communicating the vital work it does to support patients and their families.
The campaign needed a consistent visual identity that could be applied across a range of printed and digital materials while engaging the local community in a sensitive and meaningful way.
My Role
Working closely with the Hospice's fundraising team, I helped develop the visual direction for the campaign before applying it across a range of materials, including posters, leaflets, banners, social media graphics and a dedicated web page.
Throughout the project, I collaborated with the fundraising team and print suppliers to ensure the campaign maintained a consistent look and feel across every customer touchpoint while working within a limited budget and demanding timescale. A key consideration was creating communications that encouraged support while remaining sensitive to the nature of the Hospice's work.
The Result
The campaign was delivered successfully and received very positive feedback from the Hospice. Most importantly, it significantly exceeded its original fundraising target, raising more than £80,000 against an initial target of £20,000.
The project provided the Hospice with a consistent campaign identity that helped raise awareness, encourage donations and strengthen community engagement, contributing to one of its most successful Light Up A Life fundraising campaigns.
